What’s the Clermont Connection?

November 9, 1922, was the official opening of Juanita Films, a film studio in Clermont. It had a short run, which delivered three two-reel comedies before going bankrupt in December 1923. Their 50x100-foot building was located at 254 W Osceola Street, which is now a private residence (constructed in 1955).
